ABSTRACT

Essential is the relationship between building and environment, since the composition of the degradation phenomena that trigger on the monuments depends on ecological factors, the chemical constituents of the atmosphere and climatic conditions that characterize the site. The monitoring techniques, the architectural heritage becomes a territorial scale factor receptor, discriminated levels of damage in the analysis of context and status indicator of air quality in an analysis of the effects associated to the state of pre-existing in a two-way contextualisation of the report built-environment.

To this end there has been a campaign photo documentation as a tool for assessing the effects of degradation on the fronts of architectural urban center; in the urban area analyzed, monitored by two Arpacal  stations were chosen two main streets. In reference to the data analyzed has a dual scenery: maintaining an average of pollutant levels over the legal thresholds and detection of factors as the traffic accidents, the heating / cooling and become a major contributing cause of pollution associated to climate characterization of the site.

The evaluation of the urban framework of alteration of the fifth observed, in conclusion, denotes pathologies from fouling strictly correlated to movements of air mass and the dry deposition of pollutants.
