ABSTRACT

TheAreneCandide(whitesands)Cave,withitsdetailedstratigraphyscatteredover33000years,isakey

sitetoexplaintheprehistoryofthe.Thearticlediscussestheopeningtothepublic,sothatthevisitorknows

theyardandresearcherswhoproducetheartifactsandknowledgeexcellentlyexhibitedinthelocal

archaeologicalmuseum.Onanothersidetheevidenceleftby150yearsofexcavationhavebeenmade

visible,asanexampleof historyofarcheology.Theprojectincludesthebuildingofanaccesspathwalk

carefullyinsertedintothelandscapeoftheMediterraneanmacchia,anewgateintegratedwithstructuresat

theserviceofthearchaeologists,whowillworkincontactwiththepublic,andwiththeinternalpathsthat

reachtheareasofboththenewexcavationsandthose"historical".Acommunicationprojectisalsobeing

developed,whichstartedwithacompetitionforthecreationofthebrand,followedbyanexhibition,and

webpublications.
