ABSTRACT:

“Walls are not only merely structural elements of buildings, they achieved a leading role in the decoration of our houses. Furthermore, modern paint technology, allows to obtain special and astonishing affects able to convert vertical surfaces in metal-like objects. So that iron, copper, aluminium or COR-TEN, may decorate internal or external walls giving to the building or house rooms a new, bright aspect. This work provides an advanced review of this innovative coating systems, digging out the technological and scientific aspects”.
