IL RESTAURO DELL’ORATORIO DI PIAZZA A SAN FELICE SUL PANARO ATTRAVERSO GLI ATTI APPROVATIVI: NUOVI PARADIGMI DI ORTODOSSIA?

ABSTRACT

In the documents produced from the beginning of the discipline, known as Restoration Charts (form the firts one produced in 1883 in Rome to the Krakow Chart, 2000) is the sense of orthodoxy of the interventions in restoration of architecture. In the case treated in this paper, it can be said that the project, through a series of indications received from the protection offices that were responsible for examining the project, runs from Orthodoxy towards new horizons, probably of a New Orthodoxy. In the authors remains the doubt that this direction, as it has been said, imposed by the protection offices, wasn’t the best to preserve architecture in the meaning Ruskin said it has to be preserved. Anyway, if the authors are wrong or not, it would be urgently necessary to define the boundaries of this New Orthodoxy, at least to make the sense of some operations clear to everyone.
